I'm still not sure I follow but it sounds like it's a case for Helios support as you have exhausted other options.
I don't understand why TextPad's Open File(s) window should be behave any differently to say Word's.
Good luck

You've posted an image link to a file on your desktop. Could you say what version of Windows (32-bit or 64-bit) you are using and what version of TextPad? TextPad, on it's own can't see files inside zip files. It might be possible to do this with a Windows Explorer plug-in but I don't use Windows mu...

No, I actually want to view the files inside zip file using context menu inside textpad. TextPad won't let you see the individual files in a zip file. All you will see is something like the file below. http://img.skitch.com/20110907-rt4qfidbb7wb8skmk1hh6pijbq.png You may be able to see the names of...

As far as I know there's not a tool that does specifically what you are after. If your file is structured lines of data you might be able to sort the file and delete duplicate lines at that point. http://img.skitch.com/20110829-c25sehigdkhy94jb2afg2x8g61.png It's not perfect though because there's n...

Re: Current Line & File Highlighting Request
The ability to change the highlighting of the line and selected file would make it easier to see. I'm not sure what you mean by selected file here - do you mean in the document selector. You can change the current line highlight colour in the Document classes setting. It's either available as a def...

I would use the following: Find what: ^load ([0-9]{5}) Replace with: load \1 0 [ X ] Regular expression Replace All Note: There's a space after the '0' in the replacement expression. This searches for all instances of a line starting with (^) the string 'load' followed by a space and 5 digits. It re...

There's also a FINDSTR command built into windows that looks like it should be useful (and free) but I couldn't get this to work. FINDSTR [/B] [/E] [/L] [/R] [/S] [/I] [/X] [/V] [/N] [/M] [/O] [/P] [/F:file] [/C:string] [/G:file] [/D:dir list] [/A:color attributes] [/OFF[LINE]] strings [[drive:][pat...

See this earlier post which asked a similar question.
I don't think you can't do this using TextPad.
