But yes: every program lacks an exhaustive search feature - a search with which you can find captions and texts thruout every window of it, including menu items. It would make things to much easier (since manuals are rarily made today anymore). So far I'm the only one programming that into my own p...

Re: Love visual side-by-side comparison

I love SBS visual comparison in context, provided there's a good hot-key, like ALT-LEFT ALT-RIGHT to jump from change to change. IS there such a hot key? I assume the combos given by Kiwi6469 were just examples, as they don't work in TP 8.1.2. Between 8.0.2.and 8.1.2, the option to use the old comp...

A fairly easy workaround is to tap F11 twice (which closes the Doc selector then reopens it). Must be a configuration difference here, because this does not work for me. On my setup, F11 only invokes the document selector or returns to the document, and does not open and close it. This is the docum...

MudGuard accidentally got it backward. You must use a NON-proportional (aka fixed width) font to enable Fill Block. Try using Lucida Sans Typewriter or (ugh) Courier New. If you use one of those, and you are able to select a block, and Fill Block still isn't enabled, then ... well, then problem is e...

The trouble is that it doesn't make sense. By definition, a sequence of letters which would constitute a keyword outside of a comment, is just part of a comment when in a comment. I realize what you want, but it does not make sense as part of syntax highlighting. You want a different feature, for ex...

Don't you mean it's disabled if you use a proportional font?

I remember seeing this problem in the past, and in general that the text in the find box was too large to fit. But today it looks fine ... I don't remember when it changed. In any case, that box is very small, so for all but the simplest cases I type the target expression in a text window and then p...

Thomas, Two points. First, are you sure it's XP vs 7 (or Vista), or is it the newer version of TP that you had to move to when you changed OS? The reason I ask is that the problem appears to be that TP isn't resorting the document selector in these situations. When it sorts, it appears to be OK. Thi...

Ulf: thanks for the screen shots. It looks like you encounter this problem in the same place I do: when the cursor is (should be!) to the right of a period on the displayed line. Also, like me, you are using a non-standard font (HVraster in my case, Junicode in your case). Do you have the problem wi...

Add my vote for this. I almost always operate with "large" or "extra large" fonts because I use monitors with the smallest possible dot pitch to give the highest available resolution, so software which doesn't allow for this causes problems for me.
