Request: Horizontal Ruler
I would also like to place my vote for a Horizontal Ruler.
Minor Tick mark every 5 spaces;
Major Tick mark every 10 spaces;
Mark for Tabstops as an example (similar to what is available on NoteTab).

Problem with regedit changes is that some(many) programs just shell NOTEPAD.EXE for text files. Even worse, Microsoft WinX will rob the text (.txt) association back to Notepad.exe. Visible Spaces ON by default, solution sort-of works
that sort-of works. All new documents now have visible spaces on. All documents in a workspace profile open as before. Need to close and re-open in workspace to get visible space ON.
