Waiting for Textpad development staff to speed up .........

This is the first thing that I tried.
But there is no item in the apearance window which can change the Textpad dialog boxes fonts.

Your work-arround doesn't work, because Textpad modifies the workspace during the open session so the only curent solution is a i mentioned before: do always a backup of the workspace file before opening it, just in case some files won't open .

If so, then a new definition is needed for preferences window:
whether a file will be implicitly removed from workspace upon close of the file(current behaviour), or only a new explicit "remove from workspace" function will remove a file from the workspace.

Workspace enhancement: Don't change the workspace defined file list at open workspace time, even one or more workspace's file can't be opened at this moment. In this case, the unopened files should be marked in the file selector or something else, as temporarily unopened files. But continue keeping ...

I am sorry but it is not what i asked. If i close the file and reopen it , then all my defined bookmarks are not there any more, even the current workspace is allways open and active. So if this metadata is saved in the workspace, it is a pity not to use it again when reopening the file. Or may be i...

BTW, in my opinion, the mentioned fact that "even Visual Studio doesn't do this" , should not disencourage us to implement our ideas.

Solution(f): Add the " auto hide " display attribute to the file selector window.

It would be great to have the functionality of keeping the defined bookmarks even after reopenning a file, as a preferences option.
The implementation could be, by keeping in a history file, the filename and the line numbers where bookmarks were defined for each file.

It would be great to be able to define the bookmark scope as follows:
- Local: the current file, current behaviour.
- Global: all open files; all the bookmarks defined in all open files will be available.

Add it as a new setup definition in the preferences window.

It would be great to have a new function in the file selector window, to arrange the files by name (ascending,descending), or by directory (ascending,descending).
