highlighted text is to hard to see in searches

When I search, the text that is highlighted is so light, I can barely see it. Is there a way to make the highlighted text darker or the box that is highlighting the text darker? The problem is when I search, the search box is active, and the textpad window is inactive, and the "inactive highlighted text" color is too light. I have not been able to find a way to change that using windows xp.

You can set it to any color you like, goto Configure->Preferences->Document Classes->Default->Colors->Item->Selected Text, or more likely Selected Text (no focus). - HTH
